Appeal for witnesses: Car and two pedestrians incident, Morningside

Police from the Brisbane Forensic Crash Unit are investigating a serious car and two pedestrians incident that occurred last night at Morningside.
Around 9pm a red Mitsubishi ASX was travelling along Pashen Street when it collided with two pedestrians.
A 77-year-old Morningside man was transported to hospital with a large head laceration and spinal issues. He remains in a serious condition.
A 70-year-old Morningside woman was also transported to hospital with a broken left leg and fractures.
The driver a 40-year-old woman from Cannon Hill was not injured in the incident and is assisting police with their investigation.
Officers are asking anyone who may witnessed the incident, or who may have dash cam footage or CCTV of the area at the time to please contact them.
Forensic Crash Unit investigations are continuing.
