The kids at the Mayfield Catholic Primary School in Carina got to catch up with their favourite Adopt-a-Cop last week, Constable Kevin Mulhall from the Carina Police Station.
Constable Kevin thoroughly enjoyed his time engaging with the young minds of tomorrow and was happy to talk to them about personal safety and stranger danger.
These visits provide an opportunity for police to build rapport and perform an educational role within school communities. The interactions are extremely important to both the local community, the school community and the members of the QPS.
