A special Christmas party for South Brisbane Police

Saturday November 30, marked the 25th anniversary of the annual special children’s Christmas party at the Brisbane Convention Centre.
For the past 24 years, thousands of special needs children have been invited to experience a day they will never forget. This invitation only event is held for children who are terminally ill, intellectually or physically impaired, or those who may be suffering due to domestic violence or physical abuse.
Invitations are sent through schools and other Government organisations throughout south-east Queensland, and in support of this wonderful initiative, Queensland Police have been involved with this event for many years.

Whilst waiting for Santa to arrive, the children were treated to a variety of entertainment, food and photo opportunities.
