Tingalpa Police Beat will be hosting a Coffee with a Cop event at The Clockwork Rose Cafe in Tingalpa.
Unlike a lot of other Coffee with a Cop events, there is no specific theme.
Police will be in attendance and be willing to chat about anything you wish.
Doboy Ward Councillor, Lisa Atwood will also be in attendance at this upcoming event.

A man in his 30’s is in a critical condition after being hit by a car in Wynnum this evening.
Around 6.15pm the man was struck on Tingal Road.
The driver who was uninjured in the incident is assisting police.
The pedestrian has been taken to the Princess Alexandra Hospital with a critical head injury.
Police are appealing to the public to help identify the man who is bald, tanned and wearing shorts with a brown jumper.

Ferny Grove detectives have charged a man with attempted murder following the alleged assault of a woman in Brisbane last night.
It will be alleged the 39-year-old man attempted to push the 18-year-old woman, known to him, from an Albert Street unit complex balcony around 10pm.
Police attended after being contacted by a number of concerned residents and arrested a 39-year-old Bongaree man in the vicinity.
He has been charged with attempted murder (domestic violence offence), assault occasioning bodily harm (domestic violence offence) and possess utensil.
He is due to appear in Brisbane Magistrates Court today.
The woman was taken to hospital for treatment to non-life-threatening injuries.

On Wednesday, July 29, police from Dutton Park Police Station arrested a 58-year-old man and a 38-year-old woman while responding to an incident in East Brisbane.
Police allege that the man attended an address in East Brisbane and attempted to offer paid work service to the residents when the door was answered.
While the residents were talking to the man at the door, the woman allegedly unlawfully entered the house through the back door.
Police were subsequently called and the man was arrested and the woman was was located and arrested not long after at a nearby house.
The 58-year-old East Brisbane man has been charged with one count of enter dwelling with intent and one count of possessing dangerous drugs.
The 38-year-old East Brisbane woman has been charged with one count of enter dwelling with intent.
Both the man and woman are due to appear at Brisbane Magistrates Court on September 29.
Investigations are continuing.

Detectives from Task Force Sierra Linnet have charged three women for allegedly providing false information on their Queensland border declarations.
Police will allege that all three women travelled to Victoria and deliberately provided misleading documents at the Queensland border.
A 19-year-old Heritage Park woman, a 21-year-old Acacia Ridge woman and a 21-year-old Algester woman have all been charged with one count each of providing false or misleading documents – Section 364 of the Public Health Act (maximum penalty – 100 penalty units or $13,345) and fraud (dishonestly gain benefit / advantage) – Section 408C(1)(d) of the criminal code (maximum penalty five years’ imprisonment).
Police can also confirm that all three women are now cooperating with QPS and Queensland Health officials.
A criminal investigation is also being undertaken by Task Force Sierra Linnet investigators which is unrelated and not connected to the alleged travel to Victoria.

Queensland border restrictions will be expanded following the declaration of Greater Sydney becoming a COVID-19 hotspot from this weekend.
From 1am, Saturday, August 1, 34 local government areas of Greater Sydney will be declared COVID-19 hotspots.
A full list of current COVID-19 hotspots can be found on the Queensland Health website.
New South Wales local government areas of Liverpool City, Fairfield City and Campbelltown City as well as the whole state of Victoria remain active COVID-19 hotspots.
Queensland’s border restrictions mean people who have been in a COVID-19 hotspot within the last 14 days will be turned away at the state’s border.
Queensland residents who have been in a COVID-19 hotspot can return home but will be required to quarantine in government provided accommodation at their own expense.
Since July 3, anyone entering Queensland is required to complete a border declaration pass which is valid for seven days or until the person’s circumstances

Police from South Brisbane’s District Crime Prevention and Police Liaison Unit met with the on-site manager at the PARC, Sunnybank Hills on Saturday, July 25 to handover invaluable resources on personal and online safety, as well as vehicle and home security.

The team was hoping to meet with local residents, however the incessant wet weather didn’t provide the best setting for our popular information stalls. Regardless, resources in several languages were collated and presented to Shane Li, who agreed to help disseminate the information to all residents.
Senior Constable Bree McDonald was also on hand to liaise with the manager and stressed the need for communication between all stakeholders on any activity.

A cyclist has died following a collision with a ute in Brisbane’s south earlier this week.
A group of cyclists were waiting at a set of traffic lights at the intersection of Feez and Kadumba streets, Yeronga, when investigations suggest one rider fell into the path of the ute.
The 42-year-old man was transported to hospital in a critical condition where he died this afternoon.
Officers from the Forensic Crash Unit are continuing investigations.

On July 21, residents in the Seven Hills and Camp Hill areas reported a number of incidents where offenders have broken into homes and vehicles and have stolen property.
CCTV and forensic examinations are assisting police with the identification of these unknown persons. These offences have occurred in both the north and south areas of D’Arcy Road between The Promenade and Claudia.
Police are reminding everyone to be mindful of their security, as these offenders have targeted unsecured homes and vehicles in the area.
It is important to take home, vehicle and personal security seriously and to remain vigilant and aware.
By being mindful of your personal security, you could avoid falling victim to opportunistic offenders,

Lock and secure all external and internal doors and windows when leaving the house
Place vehicle keys in a location that is not easily accessed by offenders

Two teenage girls have been charged in relation to the armed robbery of two convenience stores and an incident at Auchenflower yesterday where a man allegedly had his car stolen at knife-point.
It will be alleged at around 10pm on July 19 a man and a 16-year-old girl entered a business on Bailey Road in Birkdale and produced a knife, demanding money from the female console operator.
The employee complied and gave the pair a sum of cash from the till before they fled the scene.
It is further alleged that on July 20 at around 8.30pm a 16 and 17-year-old girl were being driven by a 19-year-old man to a location in Auchenflower when one of the girls produced a knife and demanded he exit the vehicle.
The victim complied and the girls allegedly drove away in the Mazda 6.
The stolen vehicle was then allegedly driven to a service station on the Bruce
