The Queensland Police Service has finalised its investigation into the reported assault of a 13-year-old boy at Mansfield on December 23.
Following extensive inquiries, including witness interviews and medical advice, detectives have concluded there is insufficient evidence to substantiate the complaint.
No further police action will be taken in relation to the assault complaint.

Armed robberies, South Brisbane District
Police are investigating several incidents in the South Brisbane District this morning.
At 4.45am a man parked his Subaru Impreza on Hansen Rd towards the corner of Beaudesert Road when he was approached by four people.
The group demanded the man’s car keys and when he refused to hand them over, a man from the group produced a sword and began to point it at him until he gave them his keys, wallet and mobile phone.
The group then entered the man’s car and drove off along Hansen Street before crashing the vehicle.
At this point, they attempted to steal a woman’s car at the intersection of Hyde Road and Fairfield Road at Yeronga but the woman managed to drive away before one of the group could open the car door.
The group then re-entered the stolen Impreza into Villa Street and abandoned it outside a school due to its damage. They then approached
Multiple burglary and property offence charges, South Brisbane
Two men and a teenage boy have been arrested on more than 80 charges relating to robberies, burglaries and unlawful use of motor vehicles in the Morningside, Hawthorne and Bulimba areas.
On Saturday, officers executed a search warrant at a Thynne Road residence in Morningside following investigations into a located stolen blue Suzuki.
During the search it will be alleged a number of stolen items were seized resulting in the arrest of a 24-year-old man.
Investigators attended Greenridge Street in Wishart yesterday where it will be alleged a stolen Toyota Camry was located.
As a result of inquiries detectives executed a search warrant at a nearby residence in Linfield Street and arrested an 18-year-old man.
He will appear in Brisbane Magistrates Court this morning on more than 50 charges including unlawful use of a motor vehicle, burglary, enter with intent, enter premises and commit, stealing, receiving tainted property and fail to appear.

Local police join local Chinese community for crime prevention meeting
The first Chinese Community Crime Prevention Consultative Committee (CCCPCC) meeting of 2020 was held on March 3 at the Cathay Community Association Inc in Coopers Plains.
Approximately 30 community leaders and government representatives joined their local police to discuss prevalent issues facing the community.

The meeting was opened Vicki Yu, the Chair of the committee, and Member of Queensland Multicultural Advisory Council.
The meeting featured a Q and A with representatives from the Department of Home Affairs Community Liaison Team, in relation to concerns regarding travel restrictions and updates of current government policies.
Inspector Mark Stewart also had the opportunity to present information to the committee regarding recent police operations as well as the results of crime prevention engagement activities.
This was further supported by a presentation on QSS WeChat, QSS Cathay Hotline and Safety Talk Queensland by local project coordinators.

Local police take part in student of the month award presentations
Local police were on hand to present student of the month awards to some of the wonderful junior and junior students from the Australian International Islamic College (AIIC) in Durack earlier this week.

Sergeant Jim Bellos from South Brisbane District Cross Cultural Liaison Office presented the awards and said that the student of the month awards are a wonderful opportunity for students to be recognised for their academic acumen, work ethic, respect and kindness both inside and outside of the classroom.

Pursuit of stolen car and assault charge, Inala to Booval
Police are investigating following the alleged assault of a man and subsequent pursuit of a stolen vehicle from Inala to Booval early this morning.
At about 1am police were called to a Sanderling Street address in Inala following reports a 26-year-old man was allegedly assaulted by three men with a baseball bat and tasered by an electronic device.
Police will allege the three men and a woman present during the assault were not known to the victim.
The men and woman left prior to police arrival in a stolen Volkswagen Golf.
POLAIR assisted police tracking the vehicle before a successful tyre deflation device was deployed on Thomas Street in Bundamba, with the car continuing along Brisbane Road.
A short pursuit commenced as the car allegedly continued to drive dangerously on the wrong side of the road between Pemberton Street and Glebe Road. A short time later the car lost control, crashing into a gutter along
Armed robbery, Hawthorne
Police are appealing for information following an armed robbery of a teenager in Hawthorne last night.
Around 7.30pm, a 17-year-old Wynnum teenage boy was sitting in his vehicle in a car park on Oak Street in Hawthorne when he was approached by two unknown men.
One of the men threatened the teenager with a handgun and demanded he get out of the car. The teenager was then pulled from the vehicle, onto the ground.
The two men then entered the vehicle and drove down Park Street and right into Mullens Street towards Riding Road.
The teenager was not physically harmed during the altercation.
Investigators are appealing for anyone who may have information or has seen a 2013 silver Mitsubishi Mirage (pictured below) bearing Queensland registration plates 504 YWA to contact police.
The two men are described as Caucasian, and about 175cm tall.
Investigations are continuing.

One-way anti-theft screw operation, Carindale
In the first quarter of 2020, police from Carina Police Station and surrounding Police Divisions have responded to an increased number of property crimes in the Carina Police Division.
These boundaries include the suburbs of Carina, Carina Heights, Carindale and Camp Hill.
These types of offences have included break and entering to residences, breaking into motor vehicles, thefts from motor vehicles and other related property crime.
There is an increased focused on these offences by the Queensland Police Service with a number of offenders arrested already.
In conjunction with Westfield Carindale and representatives from the Carina Neighbourhood Watch Program, Carina Police will provide an opportunity for local residents to have one-way anti-theft screws fitted to their vehicles free of charge.
Whilst engaging with this event, members of the public will have the opportunity to discuss security concerns with our Crime Prevention Officers and speak to members of the local Neighbourhood Watch program.

Recently, officers from the Upper Mount Gravatt Police Station had the pleasure of being invited to host a special stall at the Griffith University ‘International Student Welcome Market Day’ in the iconic Campus Heart, Nathan.

Hundreds of students, staff and visitors had the chance to speak to their local police and receive timely information on a range of topics including cyber safety, road safety, personal safety and ways to contact police.
Students from as far China, Japan, South Korea, India, , Bangladesh, Indonesia, Mongolia, Malaysia and Switzerland flocked to take photos with their local officers.

Brisbane Holi, the now iconic Festival of Colours once again took place on Saturday, February 29 with thousands of participants taking part in celebrations signifying the ultimate victory of good over evil at Rocks Riverside Park, Seventeen Mile Rocks.
