Update 2: Robbery and stolen vehicle charges, Bulimba

Police have charged a 16-year-old girl over the assault of a woman and vehicle theft at Bulimba on Sunday night.
The 31-year-old woman was assaulted on Wambool Street and her 2010 black A5 Audi stolen.
The woman sustained swelling to her eye.
Around 8.50pm last night the stolen Audi was observed travelling on Bridgeman Road at Bald Hills with four occupants.
At 9.35pm the Dog Squad attended the intersection of Dohles Rocks Road and Castle Hill Drive at Murrumba where the Audi had been dumped.
A 16-year-old girl was located a short distance away by the Dog Squad and taken into custody.
The girl has been charged with one count each of unlawful use of a motor vehicle, enter dwelling to commit indictable offence and attempted robbery.
She is expected to appear at the Pine Rivers Children’s Court later today.
Police are still looking for the other three occupants as investigations continue.

Armed robbery, Tarragindi

Police are investigating an armed robbery at a home in Tarragindi overnight.
At 10.30pm, two males, one armed with a firearm and the other a shovel, entered a Kara Street residence and demanded property from a 49-year-old woman and a 24-year-old male.
One of the males assaulted the 24-year-old man with the rifle striking him on the back of the head and then on his right shoulder.
The 24-year-old has managed to grab hold of a frying pan and attempted to hit the man.
The pair left the scene in a vehicle with a third male driving the car.
The 24-year-old man was transported to the Princess Alexandra Hospital with a cut to his head.
Investigations are continuing.

Armed robbery, Sunnybank Hills

Police are investigating an armed robbery at a licensed premises in Sunnybank Hills this morning.
At 1.45am, three men, two armed with a firearm, entered the tavern while it was open for business.
The hotel went into lockdown as a result.
The trio left the scene with a sum of money and was last seen entering a vehicle.
Investigations are continuing.

Armed robbery and UUMV, Runcorn

Police are investigating an armed robbery in Runcorn this evening where a man’s car was stolen.
At 9.30pm, four men attended a Comet Street address to view and test drive a 2008 biege Audi A4 with Queensland registration 264LBC.
Two members of the group entered the vehicle along with a 33-year-old male resident of the address and his friend, a 21-year-old man.
During the test drive one of the males from the group produced a firearm and told the 21-year-old man to exit the car.
The 21-year-old was then punched in the head causing his mouth to bleed before he and his 33-year-old friend exited the vehicle.
The car was driven back to the Comet Street address where the remaining two members of the group entered the vehicle, which was then driven away.
The 21-year-old man did not request medical attention.
Investigations are continuing.

Robbery, Durack

Police are investigating an incident where a man was robbed by three unknown males in Durack this evening.
At 7.50pm, a 35-year-old man was travelling on a bus when he exited the vehicle at the Durrella stop.
Upon leaving the bus, he was chased by a trio of males up Akama Road where he was assaulted several times to the head and body.
The trio left the scene with the man’s mobile phone, wallet, house keys, sunglasses, portable phone charger and a sum of cash.
They were last seen running south on Akama Road towards the parklands.
The man was transported to the Princess Alexandra Hospital for treatment.
Investigations are continuing.

At 9.50pm, a 31-year-old woman was in her car, a 2010 black A5 Audi on Wambool Street when three men entered the car and assaulted her.
The woman managed to exit the vehicle before the trio left the scene in the woman’s car.
She sustained swelling to her eye and received first aid at the scene.

Unlawful use of a motor vehicle – charges, Sunnybank

Police have charged a man after a vehicle was allegedly driven dangerously at Sunnybank earlier this morning.
It will be alleged at around 11:10pm last night, police observed a stolen Toyota Landcruiser travelling at speed along Sherwood Road however, they lost sight of the vehicle.
At around 3am this morning, the same vehicle was reported to police after it had crashed into a residence on Bywood street.
The male driver had allegedly fled the scene however, police located him a short time later at a nearby residence.
A 21-year-old Sunnybank Hills man has been charged with one count of unlawful use of a motor vehicle, one count of dangerous operation of a vehicle and adversely affected by an intoxicating substance and one count of driving a motor vehicle without a driver licence.
The man is due to appear in the Brisbane Magistrates Court tomorrow, January 15.

Update: Armed robbery, Middle Park

Police are appealing for anyone with relevant dash cam footage of an armed robbery along Sumners Road at Middle Park yesterday around 1pm to contact police.
At about 1pm, a 17-year-old girl walking along Sumners Road was confronted by four men in a white dual cab utility (similar to the ute pictured).
One of the men exited the vehicle and threatened the girl with what appeared to be a firearm and demanded money.
The four men fled the scene a short time later in the vehicle with a quantity of cash.
The girl was not physically injured during the incident.
Investigations are continuing.

Update: Attempted car jacking and armed robbery, South Brisbane District

Police have charged a woman after series of threatening incidents in South Brisbane during late December and early January.
It will be alleged that around 11am on December 28, a woman attempted to steal a car parked in the driveway of a home on Princess Street.
When she was confronted by a resident, she allegedly threatened him with a hammer before a man in a nearby vehicle drove up to them, allegedly produced a tomahawk and the pair fled.
No one was physically injured as a result of the incident.
On January 1, a 52-year-old woman was driving down Hawthorne Road in Bulimba when her BMW sedan was rear-ended by a Ford Falcon following close behind.
A woman got out of the Falcon and allegedly tried to pull the woman out of her BMW.
She was then allegedly threatened with a baseball bat by a man who also got out of the Falcon.
