Police investigating the alleged assault of a man in Acacia Ridge overnight have charged two people in relation to the incident.
Officers were called at 11.50pm following reports a man was being assaulted in front of a hotel on Beaudesert Road.
On arrival, a 59-year-old man was discovered out the front of the business with a broken leg.
He was taken to the Princess Alexandra hospital for treatment of non-life threatening injuries.
Five men were subsequently located in a vehicle on Beatty Road and taken into custody.
An 18-year-old Goodna man has been charged with grievous bodily harm and is due to appear in Richlands Magistrates Court on January 22.
A 17-year-old Geebung man has been charged with affray and is due to appear in Richlands Magistrates Court on February 12.
The other three men were released from police custody.
Investigations are continuing.

Police investigating an armed robbery that occurred in Calamvale early this morning have released images of two men who may be able to assist with inquiries.
Initial investigations suggest that around 2am, an 18-year-old man was approached by two unknown men outside a service station located at the intersection of Gowan Road and Compton Road.
The two men threatened the 18-year-old and directed him into a gold coloured Hyundai sedan before further threatening him with a knife and taking his wallet.
The man managed to escape by jumping from the moving vehicle as it was travelling along Compton Road near the intersection of Allingham Street.
He was not physically injured during the incident.
Investigations are ongoing.
Police are appealing to anyone who may have seen the vehicle pictured around the time of the incident, or anyone who may have any relevant dashcam footage or information in relation to this incident to contact them.
