Switch on to home security in Eight Mile Plains

Given the large number of reported break and enter offences in Eight Mile Plains over the recent month, police have further responded by taking the message to the community.
On January 31, police and volunteers have conducted letterbox drops, knocked on doors and set up resource tables at both Warrigal Square and Runcorn Plaza to engage with the community, to raise awareness and to provide advice on home security.
It was rewarding to see so many people passionate about home security and engaging with police at the various locations. It is important to remember that effective policing does require the support of community and your home security efforts can assist in preventing offences occurring and protecting your property.
Police continue to work to apprehend property offenders and your assistance in this work is invaluable.
