Behind the Crime presentation: Crimes linked by ballistics evidence

The community is invited to attend the next ‘Behind the Crime’ presentation held by Community Supporting Police Inc. and the QPS.
The presentation will be on crimes linked by ballistics evidence and will presented by Senior Constable Peta Radnidge of the QPS Ballistics Unit and Detective Senior Sergeant Tony Parsons of the QPS Firearms and Cannabis Team.
See how Ballistics test firearms, the unlawful possession of firearms and who QPS partners with in those investigations, and a case study of ballistics efforts that assisted in the investigation into a Gold Coast shooting.

Charges, South Brisbane

Yesterday, police from Morningside Child Protection Investigation Unit located and charged a 13-year-old boy believed to be involved in a number of unarmed robberies which occurred in October 2017 at Musgrave Park.
A 13-year-old Slacks Creek boy was charged with four robbery offences. It is believed he was the last offender who was involved in the robberies to be charged.
