Fatal traffic crash, Capalaba
Police are investigating a fatal traffic crash that occurred at Capalaba this morning (March 5).
At about 5.10am, two vehicles traveling on Duncan Road have collided head on, injuring the two drivers.
A 21-year-old male driver was transported to Princess Alexandra Hospital in a critical condition however was later pronounced deceased.
The 36-year-old male driver of the second vehicle received an injury to his foot and was transported to Princess Alexandra Hospital for treatment.
No one else was injured during the incident.
The Forensic Crash Unit is investigating.

Police break down barriers with refugee welcome BBQ
Police from the South Brisbane District hosted a welcome BBQ recently for over 50 refugees from Syria, Tibet and the Democratic Republic of Congo.
The event was part of an interactive presentation coordinated by the Multicultural Development Australia. This initiative was a fantastic opportunity for participants to understand core life skills for settling here in Brisbane.
The newly arrived had the chance to engage with local police officers and police liaison officers and ask questions that they would normally have not had the chance to ask in their respective homelands. In turn, senior police representatives and liaison officers had the chance to talk about the great work of the QPS in building stronger communities.
