Property offender pinched, Ellen Grove and Marsden
Detectives from Acacia Ridge and Logan Criminal Investigation Branches have charged a 17-year-old man after a series of property offences around the Ellen Grove and Marsden areas.
Investigations led police to the man who was found at an Ellen Grove address yesterday morning (May7).
It will be alleged the man committed a series of burglary and stealing offences in the last two months. Allegedly stealing items such as wallets, phones, cash and credit cards as well as car keys.
It will also be alleged that yesterday a 68-year-old man had a verbal altercation with the man in John Street, Ellen Grove where he grabbed a piece of wood and smashed the 68-year-old’s vehicle.
On May 4 the man allegedly broke into an Ari Street residence in Marsden where a mobile phone was stolen.
The 17-year-old Ellen grove man has been charged with ten counts of burglary and two counts each of enter dwelling with intent,

A Singaporean man accused of bludgeoning and stabbing a woman he met online is arrested, more than 17 hours after the alleged attack at the Brisbane Airbnb rental he had booked.
Attempted murder, Norman Park
Police have released an image of a man as they investigate the attempted murder of a woman in Norman Park overnight.
Preliminary information indicates at 9.30pm, a 30-year-old Singaporean national hit a 20-year-old woman in the head with a hammer at a Norman Avenue residence.
He then stabbed her multiple times in the upper body area with a knife.
The man left the scene on foot.
The woman was transported to the Princess Alexandra Hospital with what is believed to be non-life threatening injuries.
The man is described as Asian in appearance with a slim build, and was last seen wearing a white T-shirt, and red and black boxer shorts with no footwear.
