Update: Robberies, South Brisbane and Logan

Police are investigating the armed robbery of a service station in Woodridge early this morning.
At around 1.15am two men, one armed with a baseball bat and the other with a handgun, forced entry to the business on the corner of Compton Road and North Road.
The pair demanded money from a male staff member before fleeing the scene with a sum of cash.
The 24-year-old staff member was not physically injured during the incident.
The two men (pictured) fled the scene in a blue Subaru Impreza (also pictured) which was being driven by a third person, and were last seen travelling south on North Road.
It is believed the robbery is linked to a several other robberies committed by three men across South Brisbane and Logan this week.

Robberies, South Brisbane and Logan

Police are searching for a stolen distinctive Suburu WRX which is linked to several robberies committed by three men across South Brisbane and Logan suburbs this week.
Around 1.35am this morning the group was armed with a handgun when they unsuccessfully tried to enter a service station on Albert Street at Waterford.
They then attended a Staplyton Road service station at Heathwood where one of the men threatened a 20-year-old console operator with a firearm.
The men then stole a sum of cash before fleeing in the blue WRX (pictured).
Investigators believe the same group is also responsible for a series of offences yesterday morning including an attempted break and enter at a Sunnybank shopping centre. Around 3.30am, the men used a sledge hammer to try and smash their way into the complex but were unable to gain access.
