Suspicious fire, Woolloongabba

Detectives are investigating following a suspicious fire at a vacant hotel in Woolloongabba early this morning.
Preliminary investigations indicate just before 3:00am three men entered the property on the corner of Logan Road and Balaclava Road, lighting a fire against a door at the rear of the building.
The men then fled the scene on foot before emergency services attended and extinguished the fire.
Police have declared a crime scene and forensic officers will return to the scene today.

Armed robbery, Camp Hill

Police are investigating the armed robbery of a licensed premises in Camp Hill early this morning.
Just after 2:30am a man entered the poker machine area of a hotel on Old Cleveland Road, armed with hand gun and a sword.
The man demanded money from a female staff member before fleeing the scene with a sum of cash.
No one was physically injured during the robbery.
The man is described as wearing a black hooded jumper and jeans and was last seen running east along Old Cleveland Road.
