Armed robbery charge, Carindale
A man has been charged following the alleged armed robbery of a takeaway food store in Carindale last night.
It will be alleged around 8.15pm a man entered the business on Old Cleveland Road and threatened a male employee with a knife, demanding money.
The man then took a sum of cash and fled.
No one was physically injured as a result of the incident.
Police later attended a Wynnum West address and located a vehicle that was witnessed allegedly driving from the scene.
A 20-year-old Wynnum West man was taken into custody and charged with armed robbery.
He is due to appear in Brisbane Magistrates Court this morning.

Wilful damage, Cleveland
Police have released a CCTV image of a man who may be able to assist with investigations into a wilful damage incident at a Cleveland fast food outlet early Thursday morning.
Around 1.30am on July 27 a man walked into the drive-through section of the business on Shore Street West and attempted to order food, however was refused.
The man became abusive towards staff before pulling a speaker box out of the ground, causing significant damage.
He then attempted to gain entry to dining area of the business which was closed at the time, causing damage to the automated doors.
The man then fled the scene.
He is described as Caucasian in appearance, around 25 to 30-years-old with a solid build and facial hair including a shirt beard and moustache.
The man was wearing a navy coloured jacket and shirt.
