Update: Prolific property offender, Brisbane

Detectives are continuing to appeal for public assistance to locate a man who may be able to assist with investigations into a large and increasing number of property offences in the Brisbane area.
Mitchell Connor, 31, is believed to be in possession of a handgun and police are urging members of the public NOT to approach him.
Since police last launched a public appeal to locate the man on June 15, up to 40 additional offences have occurred which are believed to be linked.
Since April 2017 a large amount of vehicles and personal property have been stolen from secure carparks and garages in numerous areas spanning from Brisbane’s north to the Gold Coast, including Norman Park, New Farm, Albion, Coorparoo, Eight Mile Plains and Southport.
Police have released new CCTV vision of a man they wish to speak with in relation to the offences.

Dangerous operation of a motor vehicle, Heathwood

A man and woman have been charged after allegedly driving a stolen vehicle from police through Logan and Brisbane’s south last night.
It will be alleged around 8.30pm on Huron Street at Woodridge police attempted to intercept a vehicle which had been stolen from a Carindale residence on July 24.
The car allegedly failed to stop and drove at speed into oncoming traffic along Ewing road, forcing other motorists to take evasive action.
The vehicle was then tracked by POLAIR as it travelled into Ipswich and back through to Heathwood.
A tyre deflation device was successfully deployed on Stapylton Road around 9.40pm and the car was followed by police at a low speed onto Johnson Road, Forestdale.
Once the vehicle stopped the driver and passenger were taken into custody without incident.
