Cops and Robbers parkrun, Saturday October 14
Upper Mount Gravatt and Holland Park Police would like to invite you to the Cops and Robbers parkrun.
You’re welcome to dress as a robber or convict and run or walk with a cop.
To highlight police health, police will be running, walking and handing out high fives along 5kms of beautiful parkland along the Bulimba Creek.
This event is about bringing the community together and saying G’day to local police in an encouraging fun environment.
parkrun is a free event organised entirely by volunteers every Saturday for all ages and all fitness levels.

The plaque on a roadside memorial for murdered Brisbane mother Allison Baden-Clay near the site where her body was found after being dumped by her husband and killer, Gerard Baden-Clay, appears to have been removed.
Scores of Queensland greyhounds too risky for adoption euthanased
Almost a quarter of retired greyhounds surrendered to the Queensland racing watchdog’s adoption program have been euthanased in the past year, because their behaviour made them too unsafe to be rehomed.
Robbery and assault police charges, Eight Mile Plains
Police have charged a woman following two incidents in Eight Mile Plains yesterday evening.
At around 6:40pm two women entered a bottle shop on Padstow Road.
It will be alleged as one woman spoke to a male staff member the other woman stole alcohol before threatening the staff member and fleeing the scene.
No one was physically injured during the incident.
At around 8:30pm police were called to a disturbance in a park on Logan Road in Eight Mile Plains where they located a woman who had allegedly been involved in the earlier robbery.
As police were taking the woman into custody it will be alleged she spat in a male officer’s face.
It will be further alleged the woman spat on another officer when she was taken to the Brisbane City Watchhouse.
A 24-year-old Brisbane City woman has been charged with two counts of assault police and one count of armed robbery.
She is due to appear
