Thank you to all who supported the Cops and Robbers parkrun, Mansfield
A big thank you to everyone who came out to support the local police at the Mansfield parkrun on Saturday.
It was great to see so many people attend the event embracing the Cops and Robbers theme with some great costumes and one police officer running in full uniform.
Over 20 police attended the Cops and Robbers parkrun event held at Tillack Park where they chased down 160 runners as they wound their way along the Bulimba Creek to the finish line.
Running to promote good health, runners had their speed detected and yelled out to them as they ran past with the day’s top speed reaching 24km/hr.
It was a great opportunity for members of the public to ask questions and interact with their local officers with lots of encouragement and high 5’s given out throughout the morning.
