Collectable coins and memorabilia located, Calamvale
Police are appealing for public assistance to help find the owners of a collection of coins, memorabilia and cash believed to be worth a considerable sum of money.
Officers were conducting patrols on Beaudesert Road in Calamvale on October 27 when they intercepted a vehicle for the purpose of a drug search.
Police allegedly located Cannabis and drug utensils in the vehicle, while a subsequent search of the boot uncovered a substantial amount of money including Australian currency, collectable notes and phone cards, foreign currency and numerous memorabilia coins.
Investigators are appealing for the owner or anyone who may recognise the collections to contact police.
A 57-year-old Tarragindi woman has been issued with a notice to appear for possessing dangerous drugs and possessing property suspected of having been used in connection with the commission of a drug offence.

Fatal traffic crash, Wacol
A man has died after his vehicle crashed into a parked truck in Wacol early this morning.
Preliminary investigations indicate at around 2am a car was travelling along Industrial Avenue when it collided with the back of a truck parked on the road.
The driver and sole occupant of the car, a 45-year-old man from Springfield, was pronounced deceased at the scene.
The Forensic Crash Unit is investigating the cause of the crash.
