Armed robbery, Holland Park
Detectives from Upper Mount Gravatt are investigating after a man armed with a hatchet threatened the occupants of a Holland Park house before stealing their car earlier today.
The man entered the Cavendish Road residence around 10.25am where he confronted a 31-year-old woman and a 13-year-old boy in the lounge room.
He threatened them with the hatchet / tomahawk demanding the keys to a grey Ford Territory.
The man then fled in the vehicle. He is described as aged in his mid-20s, tall and skinny. He was wearing a dark coloured hoodie and had his face covered with a bandana.
The stolen vehicle is a 2007 grey Ford Territory with Queensland Registration 287-WLD.
Anyone who sees the vehicle is urged not to approach and immediately call Triple Zero (000).
Anyone in the area who has CCTV vision is asked to contact police.
The woman and boy were not physically injured.
