Are you proud of the community in which you live and want to contribute to reducing crime and enhancing community safety?
If you answered yes, then being a ‘Volunteer in Policing’ (ViP) may be the role for you!
ViPs are community members who volunteer each week at local police stations, assisting police with the distribution of crime alert notices through letter box drops, providing crime prevention advice, conducting security audits, conducting presentations to community groups on behalf of police and liaising with businesses and victims of crime.
We are seeking volunteers who are interested in working in a team environment, helping their local community and can work from the Camp Hill area.
ViP applications are available by visiting https://www.police.qld.gov.au/join/vip/Join-the-Program.htm
To be considered, completed applications must be submitted either by mail or email no later than close of business Friday, March 2.
