Police are investigating the unarmed robbery of a food delivery driver in Woolloongabba this morning.
At 6am, a 38-year-old man was on Carl Street retrieving a fast food delivery order from the boot of his vehicle when he observed a group approaching his car.
A male stole his wallet from the car, and when the 38-year-old challenged him, he assaulted the driver.
The group then entered the driver’s vehicle and drove away.
They returned a short time later and assaulted the driver again.
The 38-year-old man sustained minor injuries but did not require treatment by emergency services.
