Detectives from Acacia Ridge Criminal Investigation Branch have closed an ongoing operation today after four people have been charged with stealing over a million dollars worth of aviation parts.
Operation Papa Apricot began on May 8 after a shipping container was stolen from an address on Fairfield Road at Yeerongpilly.
Inside the container were a large amount of helicopter and aviation parts which are valued at one and a half million dollars.
Investigations conducted over the next four months lead detectives to two properties in Eagleby and Yeronga and as a result, two men were arrested and charged.
A majority of the stolen parts were recovered from the two properties and the shipping container was located at a property at Logan Village.
Police continued to investigate which lead to a woman being arrested and charged yesterday at a property in Edens Landing and a man was arrested at Yeronga.
