South Brisbane officers receive Essential Services Awards

The annual Rotary Club of South Brisbane’s Essential Services Awards recognises local officers from the essential services, such as the QPS, Queensland Fire and Rescue Services, Queensland Ambulance Service and the Queensland State Emergency Services.
Officers considered for awards have shown to provide a service over and above their normal duties through their dedication to their vocation and their service and contribution to the community.
Five police officers from South Brisbane District received Essential Services Awards at the awards night at the Greek Club in South Brisbane on Monday.
Constable Luke Maloney of Annerley Station
Constable Moloney was awarded the essential services award for providing a service over and above his normal duties through dedication to his policing duties, extensive community contributions, and ultimately treating all persons fairly with dignity and respect.
Constable Brady Duggan of Dutton Park Station
Constable Duggan was awarded the essential services award for his positive work attitude which has a constructive influence
