On Saturday August 26, the Queensland Police Service were able to say thank-you to Tom Searles who has been volunteering his time with the service for the past 15 years.
The awesome staff at the Brisbane Lions assisted the QPS in their appreciation by highlighting Tom’s 15 years of voluntary service through a series of photographs on the big screen at half-time.
Tom commenced in the ‘Volunteers in Policing Program in 2002’ and continues in this role today.
He is highly regarded by the police and other volunteers he works alongside. Tom is loyal, hard-working, a friend to many and he is very passionate about helping the police to reduce crime and making the community a safer place.
Tom is a regular volunteer at sporting events held at the Gabba working closely with local police and engaging with members of the sporting community.
