The long serving Officer in Charge of Upper Mount Gravatt Station, Senior Sergeant Steve Hollands has been promoted to the rank of Inspector.
He will be transferring to take up a position as the Inspector, Strategy and Performance working with the Deputy Commissioner (Strategy, Policy and Performance) commencing Monday, August 14.
Senior Sergeant Hollands is sad to be leaving a great station but is looking forward to the challenge of working in a new environment.
Senior Sergeant Hollands has been the Officer in Charge since 2008 and during this period, he has undertaken extensive career development in roles including Patrol Inspector, Detective Inspector, Regional Duty Officer, Staff Officer and also as a support officer to the Deputy Commissioner (Regional Operations). For the past six months, he has been relieving as the Patrol Inspector, Bayside.
