Detectives are investigating the assault of a bus driver at Carindale this morning.
At about 10am at the Carindale busway, four men entered a TransLink bus operated by a Redlands based company.
Three of the men were unable to pay for their fare and were denied entry to the bus. One of the men began swearing, resulting in the bus driver asking all four men to leave the bus.
As the four exited, one of the men punched the driver in the face causing a cut to his lip.
The four men then left the busway through a nearby shopping centre.
No one else was injured and investigations into the incident are continuing.
