Dogs on Patrol has proven to be a wonderful program elsewhere and the combined efforts of several South Brisbane Neighbourhood Watch Groups hope to build on that success with their program.
The launch of the program will be held be 10am until noon on Sunday July 16 at the Camp Hill State School cricket oval.
The day will feature displays by the RSPCA, Brisbane City Council, Pet Suppliers, Groomers, Dog Obedience Schools, Dog Sitters and Walkers. Local police and NHWQ groups will be on hand to discuss how you and your dog can help to keep your neighbourhood safe and learn about safety. Who knew something as simple as walking your dog can contribute to community safety?
There will be a Dog Agility and Dog Show as part of the day and you can also pick up your own ‘Dogs on Patrol’ dog tag and have the NHWQ members engrave for you.
Come along
