Police are investigating the attempted robbery of a licensed premises in Mansfield yesterday.
At 10.35am, a man entered the Wecker Road business armed with a knife and demanded money from the employee behind the bar.
The man entered the bar area and has used his knife to unsuccessfully open the till.
He then proceeded to rifle through bags belonging to staff members before he was interrupted by another employee.
The man left the scene empty-handed and was last seen driving away on a motorcycle wearing a helmet and gloves.
Investigations are continuing.
