On July 1, officers from South Brisbane District Crime Prevention Unit partnered with the Sunnybank branch of the Commonwealth Bank to provide business owners with safety and security advice at the Sunnybank Business Safety Seminar.
One of the topics discussed at the seminar was the detection of counterfeit notes, which is timely as there have been a few circulating in the South Brisbane area.
Speakers on the day included Sergeant Chris Hebblethwaite, Senior Police Liaison Officer Ken Rong and Sunnybank Commonwealth Bank Branch Manager, Mr Jimmy Chee.
