Stabbing incident, Moorooka

Detectives have charged a man following an alleged stabbing incident in Moorooka last night.
It will be alleged about 6pm a 52-year-old Moorooka woman sustained a knife wound to her face after an argument with a man at a Helles Street address.
It is further alleged a short time later, the man attended a Keats Street residence and stabbed a 30-year-old Moorooka man in the head and forearm.
The man fled the scene on foot however was located by police a short time later nearby and taken into custody without incident.
The 30-year-old male victim was transported to Princess Alexandra Hospital with life-threatening injuries.
The 52-year-old female victim was also taken to Princess Alexandra Hospital in a stable condition.
A 44-year-old Moorooka man has been charged with two counts of acts intended to main and one count each of common assault and wilful damage.
He is due to appear in the Brisbane Magistrates Court on Wednesday May
