On Saturday, January 25, we hosted two Coffee with a Cop events in South Brisbane.
Police, Police Liaison Officers (PLOs) and Volunteers in Policing (ViPs) kicked off their morning coffee with the community at the Merriweather Cafe on Russell Street.
On the same afternoon, officers moved their event to Champ Kitchen & Bar on Grey Street.
Police from South Bank Station arrived at South Bank with an All Terrain Vehicle (ATV) and marked van.
It was a good photo opportunity for a lot of tourists and even local residents.
Local officers gave the public a tour of their buggy and the van. Some took a peek into vehicles and took lots of photos with police, the buggy and the other police vehicles.
A number of people approached officers to express their appreciation for the hard work that police do.
