Six Queensland Police Service (QPS) officers were recognised for their on-going service to the community that went above and beyond their policing duties at an awards ceremony at Yeronga Services and Community Club on Monday, October 14.
The Essential Services Awards ceremony has been an annual event since 2012 to recognise officers from the QPS, Queensland Fire and Emergency Services (QFES) and the Queensland Ambulance Service (QAS) for their outstanding contribution to their community.
