South Brisbane wraps up Queensland Road Safety Week

That’s a wrap!
Today was the last day of Queensland Police Safety Week and it was wrapped up in style at Westfield Garden City with the Black Thunders.
The Road Policing Unit, Dog Squad, Mount Gravatt general duties, Crime Prevention Unit and Volunteers in Policing along with Westfield Garden City staff were on hand to mingle with the community and provide road safety information, anti-theft one-way screws for number plates and resources plus a free juice!
This week as been jam packed with a variety of community events, school visits, Coffee with a Cop events, POLAIR visits and entertainment to spread the road safety message throughout Queensland.

Senior Sergeant Dave Stafford said police from South Brisbane have thoroughly enjoyed a busy week of community interaction and support around the Fatal Five messages.
