Morningside Police have ended Domestic and Family Violence Prevention month by supporting victims of Domestic and Family Violence in our community with a day out to a local horse therapy centre, ‘Horses in Mind’ at Hemmant.
This day out gave the mums and kids an opportunity to relax and spend some quality time together.
Senior Sergeant Marilyn Jackson, Officer in Charge of Morningside Station, said it was a great day out.
The kids were so excited to see all the animals, they couldn’t stop smiling.
Morningside Police were happy to be able to share in this special day with so many families.
‘Horses In Mind’ provides access to horse oriented activities, in order to promote the physical, emotional and social well-being of young people of all ages and abilities.
