Yesterday May 28, officers attended a Tarragindi Kindergarten following reports of a break in.
Thieves targeted the office area causing damage to a window and removing cash.
The incident was very upsetting for the kids, teachers, and the entire kindergarten community who have been working tirelessly preparing for their upcoming fete this weekend.
When we arrived, the kids met us with smiling little faces but they were very concerned about the damage that had been caused and the possibility that the ‘baddies’ were still inside their kindergarten.
After answering loads of questions and reassuring them that the ‘baddies’ were gone, it was time to enjoy the sunshine and check out their awesome playground.
We made lots of new friends and were even treated to some sand pies in the kitchen.
We were also lucky enough to take some great drawings back to our station and we look forward to visiting the kindergarten again soon.
