Chinese Speaking Police Liaison Officers gathered at West End earlier this month to present a special personal safety talk to the staff and family members of the Consulate General of the People’s Republic of China in Brisbane.
The Officers were greeted by the Deputy Consul Generals – Mr. Li Chan and Ms. Li Zhou, who were grateful for opportunity to learn from the Unit’s finest.
Attendees had the chance to learn about a number of important topics including scam awareness, road safety, dealing with confrontation and the best way to contact police.
The crowed was very engaged and asked a variety of questions.
Consul Ang Shen, Director of Consular Protection Session said as some people here are new arrivals to this beautiful country, it is important for them to be aware of the important issues in the community.
