A home security reminder for Seven Hills residents

Police are appealing to residents in the suburb of Seven Hills and surrounds to be vigilant with their home security measures after a number of break and enters have been reported recently to police.
Homes in the area have been entered in the early evening hours through closed but unlocked doors and/or by removing or cutting fly screens from windows and forcing their way into the dwelling.
Some of these offences have occurred when the residents were home and offenders have taken cash, handbags, jewellery, laptops and small portable goods. In some instances offenders have been using the occupants vehicle keys to steal their private vehicles.
Police are reminding all residents to ensure they take steps to deter offenders from entering their homes and to avoid offering easy access to your property.
