South Brisbane District Police under the Operation Wake Up campaign would to invite the local community to a morning Coffee with a Cop at Mount Gravatt McDonalds.
Police are looking forward to chatting with the community on all things road safety as the Easter holidays commence.
Superintendent Virginia Nelson said this event is about having conversations with our community about being safe on our roads.
“As many families head off on their well deserved Easter holidays, police would like everyone to be thinking about road safety,” Superintendent Nelson said.
“Road crashes claim far too many lives and we, the police, are committed to doing what we can to keep our community as safe as possible on the roads this Easter.
“Weather you are driving a car, travelling on a motorcycle or bicycle or even walking, we all have a role to play in keeping safe on the roads.”
A reminder that Operation Wake Up kicks off on April 5 and will
