USC students welcome local police

Officers from the South Brisbane District Crime Prevention Unit were on hand earlier this month to provide timely advice to students from the University of the Sunshine Coast.
Based in South Brisbane, students from the iconic university travelled to Australia from India, Nepal, China and several nations across Europe to study in a range of disciplines.
Our young people have the right to study in safety and without the fear here in our beautiful city.
The lunchtime session focussed on a range of helpful topics ranging from personal and home safety, all the way through to mental health and how to engage with local police.
Many thanks to Julianne Bernhagen, Manager, for allowing us to speak to the energetic group.
