In the early hours of February 28, a series of attempted burglaries occurred in the vicinity of Almavale, Argoon and Donnington Streets in Carindale.
An offender was subsequently tracked from the area and later arrested by police in possession of an old blue Raleigh Mountain Bike (pictured below).
Police are seeking assistance to identify the owner of the bicycle which was used to facilitate escape from the area and was likely stolen from the vicinity.
Whilst not of significant monetary value, the bicycle would assist police with identifying the movements of the offender prior to arrest and possibly identify further offences.
It is requested if residents could contact police if they can provide any further information related to the events of February 28 or in relation to the owner of the bicycle.
