Murarrie State School strong on leadership

Adopt-a-Cop Senior Constable Kerri Edwards of the Cannon Hill Police Beat was honoured to attend the Badge Ceremony for Murarrie State School this month.
Two very special year six students pledged their commitment to the help with leadership and school spirit.
Evie and Hayden have been students at Murrarie State School most of their schooling lives and are proud to be able to stand up as representatives of the school.
Evie and Hayden were presented with their School Captain badges and each received a candle representing their burning desire to lead.
Murarrie is a small State School of approximately 80 students and although it is small it prides itself on strong family and community relationships.
The QPS Adopt-a-Cop program was implemented in 1985 to build positive relationships between police and members of the school community through the voluntary appointment of Adopt-a-Cops to schools and other relevant organisations.
