Another Christmas is upon us, a time when people often stop and reflect on the year they’ve just had. For me it’s involved working with some great people and experiencing the best in society and unfortunately the worst in society.
Police will be out in force in the festive season, even on Christmas day to make sure everybody end’s up where they’re supposed to be going.
So while you’re sitting down on Christmas day, enjoying (or enduring) the family time, stop and think about the emergency service workers away from their homes and their families.
Some don’t get to see the faces of their children when they open their presents from Santa, others have to leave their Christmas feast early to be at work on time.
At Upper Mount Gravatt Station, it’ll be business as usual with police spending Christmas day amongst their blue family.
