Thousands of worshippers, attendees and delegates gathered at the Queensland Vedic Cultural Centre in Willawong for the annual Arya Mahasamellan over the weekend of November 30 to December 2, 2018.
The theme for this years gathering was ‘Vedas for Peace and Empowering Humans in Daily Lives.’
The Vedas are a powerful manual on guiding one onto the righteous path; as well instructions for living life to the maximum potential.
The auspicious event featured local and international speakers from India, the United States; as well as words of wisdom from Queensland Police Service’s very own Sergeant Jim Bellos APM.
Sergeant Jim Bellos said that he thoroughly enjoys attending these types of events as it brings people together and encourages dialogue.
“We all share common goals such as tolerance, respect and understanding for others. As well as the love for spicy Indian food,”
