removing louvres in laundry windows to gain entry; and
in some instances, doors and windows have been left insecure.
To help prevent this happening to you:
lock all doors, garages, windows and vehicles (even when you are home, offenders can sneak in and steal your valuables, car/house keys and subsequently your car);
lock internal doors between house and garage;
lock screen doors with a key, so screen cannot be cut and snib unlocked;
if possible, install security screens and alarms; and
report any suspicious behaviour to police.
