Unfortunately, in this day and age, not everyone is legitimate and so when you receive these items in your mail box, just do a couple of quick checks to ensure you will be dealing with a legitimate, qualified and licensed trade person.
You can check a contractor has a current licence by logging onto the Queensland Building and Construction Commission website (QBCC). This site is a great way to find out if you are dealing with a licenced builder and whether or not that builder/contractor has had any recent breaches or fines.
