Last week was Queensland Road Safety Week and police reminded community members to not only freshen up on your road rules, but also a chance to tell us how you’d like to make the roads safer.
Police explained to the public, road safety is not only about refreshing your knowledge of the road rules regularly, but also understanding it’s everyone’s responsibility to understand that we share the roads with different road users and we need to respect others while on the roads.
We also focused on bicycle and vehicle security. If you have a bicycle and haven’t recorded your serial number, please do so now, a photo of the bicycle is even better. Always lock your vehicle even when it’s parked at home. Remove all the valuable items from the plain sight.
