Outstanding officers recognised at Essential Services Awards

QPS members and Rotary Club representatives
Four QPS officers received awards at the Essential Services Awards ceremony held by the Rotary Club of South Brisbane at the Yeronga Services and Community Club on August 20.
The Essential Services Awards recognise officers from the essential services, such as the Queensland Police Service, Queensland Fire and Rescue Services, Queensland Ambulance Service and the Queensland State Emergency Services.
Officers receiving the award have provided a service above their normal duties through their dedication to their vocation and their service and contribution to the community.
The awards were presented to QPS officers by Commissioner Ian Stewart and Chief Superintendent Mick Niland of the QPS and President Judith John of the Rotary Club of South Brisbane.
