Police from South Brisbane District Crime Prevention Unit urge residents in Eight Mile Plains and surrounding suburbs to re-assess their home security.
At present offenders are committing what police call, FORCED break-ins.
Entry have been gained by removing a sliding door from its track, smashing windows and doors. Offence has occurred during the day, in the afternoon and evening.
Once offenders were inside, they conducted an untidy search. Offenders have been stealing foreign currency, monies, jewelries, alcohol beverages, food, power tools and expensive items.
