On Saturday, August 4, officers and VIPs (Volunteers In Police) from the South Brisbane District Crime Prevention Unit attended Rochedale Community Day Celebrations at the Rochedale Arise.
Officers and VIPs had the privilege of interacting with the diverse community and educating attendees on the importance of home, personal and vehicle safety.
This event was run in conjunction with the opening of the new estate at Rochedale and was an excellent forum to welcome new residents to the area and provide them with the essential crime prevention knowledge that they can apply in their neighbourhood.
This was a great opportunity to interact with the community and discuss important issues in this culturally rich part of South Brisbane said Senior Police Liaison Officer Li-Shan Huang.
“Many thanks to all who popped in to say hello, we look forward to working with you to build a safe and prosperous Rochedale”
