On Friday, July 20, police from South Brisbane and North Brisbane District completed the River to Rooftop stair run at 111 Eagle Street, Brisbane City.
The River to Rooftop event supports and raises money for the Women’s Legal Service, who provide free legal and welfare help to Queensland women and their children at risk of domestic and family violence.
It was excellent to see all the individual competitors and teams challenge themselves to climbing 1040 stairs for such a great cause.
Although there may have been some friendly rivalry for extra motivation, the police team were all smiles afterwards.
